Parish Champions Shield 2023

Cllr. Sue Murphy Presenting The Parish Champions Shield 2023 to Tom NugentChairman Cllr. Sue Murphy presented the Parish Champions Shield 2023 to Tom Nugent for ‘long and outstanding service to junior football in Seneley Green’. We are sure residents will agree that Tom is a worthy winner of this award. He was suitably shocked and overwhelmed, in equal measure, at the Seneley & Garswood Juniors event yesterday afternoon (when he was also awarded the Life Presidency of the Club. Congratulations Tom!

Garswood Library
At the moment we do not have enough volunteers to take discussion forward with St Helens about the setting up of a volunteer-led library service (should it finally be decided they wish to close Garswood Library). We would ask anyone who is interested in being involved to please get in touch as soon as possible by contacting the Clerk.
MINERS’ MEMORIAL
The memorial is now complete and is located outside the Parish Hall. We already have time capsule contributions from our schools but if any other organisation would like to make a contribution please get in touch with the Clerk
