Seneley Green Parish Hall

The Parish Hall and the Community Hall, serve a number of community and commercial groups. These facilities are also used by junior football and rugby league teams, making them  a vital part of local sports development.

In addition to its functional role, Seneley Green Parish Hall also contributes to the area’s social fabric. Hosting various events and gatherings, helping foster a sense of community among residents. The hall’s facilities are well-maintained, making it an ideal venue for local events.

Seneley Green Parish Hall is a symbol of community spirit and local governance and serves as a gathering place for residents as well as a hub for community services.

Parish Council meetings are held monthly on the second Thursday of each month with the venue alternating between Seneley Green Parish Hall and the Community Hall (located on Monterey Crescent, Garswood).  Both venues provide an open forum for residents to discuss local issues and to contribute to the decision making processes. The Community Hall is also a venue for a variety of activities such as the popular ‘Fit Forever Gentle Keep-Fit’ sessions as part of St Helens Borough Council’s Active Lives & Sports Development initiative, aimed at helping residents get more active more often. The centre also hosts other events. In April 2023, a short event was held at the Community Hall to acknowledge partnership work to bring a much-needed second public defibrillator to Seneley Green. The Parish Council supplied the cabinet while Seneley & Garswood Juniors donated the defibrillator, and the Oliver King Foundation donated the consumables needed to get the whole facility up and running.
